It’s a New, New Year!

30 Dec

What does that even mean…Happy New Year? Are you wishing me a happy new day instead of a new year? Technically this New Year will bring me the same stuff as last year. Happiness, health, wealth, heartbreak, anger, attitude, disappointment, grief and love amongst many other things. Are you wishing me a Happy New Year to avoid these things? There is no way you will never feel any of these things, at some point during the year you are guaranteed to feel one of the above. New year, new beginnings, goals, achievements, thoughts, oh isn’t this called a resolution? Yes a New Year’s Resolution! Yeah…no, I agree on the goal making part because you are always supposed to have goals. You are supposed to have goals set all the time. If changing your attitude is one of these goals, why is this a New Year’s Resolution? Why can it not be something you work on prior to the New Year knowing you should be doing this now? Isn’t a resolution and a goal the same? Why is it better to have a New Year’s Resolution and not a goal? Excuse me for being a New Year’s Bitch but what is all the hype about? There is nothing to be excited about…in my opinion. My goal is to make the best of everyday. Be thankful that I woke up today. Be grateful for all that I have. Continue to do what I can do to make myself happy and keep it moving. So, Happy New Day or Year! Which ever makes you happy!

Here is a recycled post from last year hope you love it! See you in the New Year! Be safe and be blessed everyone!

Of course you have to stick to it!! you made a resolution for the entireeeee year!! If you don’t stick to it then what is going to happen? Are you going to try to make the same resolution for the next year? 2011, 2012, 2013? Wait, isn’t supposed to stop at 2012? lol just kidding. It can stop tomorrow!!! I can’t! But thanks for showing me love on the blog…and happy new day…every day! Best wishes on reaching your goals in 2010! 🙂

Stuff you are so right! When a person has a goal that goal should be set prior to the new year. If it’s a real goal you don’t have to tell others about it, you just step up and work on it. The beginning of each year the gyms make tons of money because of so many “resolutions” made by people who want to loose weight or get healthy…well that should have been something to did when your clothes started getting too small for you. What’s funny is that I just found out by one of my co-workers that “Slim Fast” products go on sale!! WOW the retail companies sure know what to do to make money from all these resolutions.

Sometimes a new year or day doesn’t always bring happiness, it doesn’t always bring new beginnings, it’s just another year or day that you have to live and be greatful for that. I’m greatful to be alive today, yesterday and the past 41 years. Maybe during those years things weren’t always pleasant and always happy but hey…I’m still standing!! Stuff you said a mouth full, a mouth full of truth.

Please everyone count how many times you hear “Happy New Year” from people from today until month’s end. It will drive you nuts!

Yes very very true. This is y i dont do new years resolution. Its pointless. Many people do not even follow through with their resolutions. N i also agree that you should always have goals and not jus 1goal set for the new year. N every year everyone does go through the same thing at some point. Good one sissy
